BODYFARM: NEW ALBUM & LINEUP CHANGES

Dutch death metallers BODYFARM are hard at work on pre-production for the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2013 album, “The Coming Scourge”. In addition, the band has parted ways with bassist Harry Van Breda on good terms. He will be replaced by Alex Seegers (ex-PLEURISY).

The still untitled new album is due to be released in the fall of 2015, again throughCyclone Empire Records.

BODYFARM had the following to say: “We have worked hard on the new songs and we did not limit ourselves to one metal genre. We were surprised to hear all these styles and influences emerging in the rehearsal room. This will be the most diverse album we did so far!”

Quint Meerbeek – drums
Thomas Wouters – guitars/vocals
Alex Seegers – bass
Bram Hilhorst – guitars

The Coming Scourge‘ was originally released on September 20th 2013 through Cyclone Empire and later re-released via Metal Blade Records in the United States. The album received amazing reviews from music critics worldwide. ‘The Coming Scourge’ was recorded from February until May 2013 in Oerknal Studios, and was mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström (THE 11TH HOUR, AEON, THE GROTESQUERY, PAGANIZER ) from Enhanced Audio Productions. The artwork was created by renowned underground artist Juanjo Castellano (VOMITORY, REVEL IN FLESH, etc.).
